Privacy Policy

This Policy describes how Hooderians handles personal information when you browse the public feed, create an account, interact with members, use messages or access the Robinhood Chain wallet and trading features. It also explains what remains on your device and what becomes public on a blockchain.

• Account and profile: email address, account identifiers, display name, biography, profile and cover photos, and account preferences.
• Community activity: posts, attached media, reactions, comments, follows, saved posts, shares, messages, visibility selections, reports and moderation records.
• Technical information: authentication and session data, device/browser information, IP address, access logs and information needed to diagnose errors, prevent abuse and keep the service running.
• Wallet-related information: public wallet address, token addresses and public balances or transaction information requested from blockchain and market-data providers when you use wallet or token features. Blockchain transactions are public and may be linked to your address.

Please avoid posting sensitive personal information, private keys or recovery phrases in posts, profiles or messages.

Wallet generation and key handling take place in your browser. If you save a wallet, its encrypted keystore and public address are stored in that browser’s local storage; custom token addresses and your theme preference are also stored locally. Your wallet password unlocks the keystore on your device. Hooderians does not receive or store your private key, recovery phrase or wallet password as part of wallet generation, saving or signing.

Local storage is not a cloud backup. Clearing browser data or losing the device can erase your local wallet. A compromised device, browser or password can expose your assets. Back up your recovery phrase securely and never send it to anyone, including people claiming to be support.

We use information to create and secure accounts; show profiles and the feed; deliver posts, messages, reactions and notifications; apply visibility settings; operate wallet views and token previews; enforce community rules; investigate misuse; maintain and improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations. Where privacy law applies, these activities may rely on performance of our service agreement, legitimate interests in security and operation, legal obligations, or consent when required.

Profiles and Public posts may be visible to guests and copied, indexed or shared beyond Hooderians. Friends posts are intended for mutual connections; Only Me posts are intended for you. Message participants can see their conversations. People may still retain copies of content they previously saw. Your email address and authentication credentials are not displayed in public profiles.

Moderators and administrators may access information needed to enforce rules and protect the platform, subject to their permissions. Blockchain addresses and transactions are visible on public networks independently of your post visibility settings; if you publish an address, others may associate its activity with your profile.

Hosting, authentication, storage and delivery providers process data to operate Hooderians. External links and link previews may involve fetching metadata from third-party websites. Wallet balances, token prices, quotes and transactions involve blockchain nodes, explorers, market-data services and decentralized exchange protocols; those services may see your public wallet address, requests, IP address or transaction details and apply their own privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people and the service.

The site uses browser storage and authentication/session mechanisms to keep you signed in, remember your theme and retain the encrypted wallet on that device. Disabling or clearing them may sign you out or remove local wallet data. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards for hosted data, but no internet service or device is completely secure. Use a strong account password, protect your device and review transaction details before signing.

We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, dispute-resolution and legal purposes. Removing a post or account may not remove copies held by other users, third parties, backups or legally required records. Browser-stored wallet data remains on your device until you remove it or clear browser storage. Public blockchain records are generally permanent and cannot be deleted by Hooderians.

You can edit your profile, choose post visibility, remove content where the service permits, and remove your saved wallet from this browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Applicable law may also give you the right to data portability or to complain to a data protection authority. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or the rights of others. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

The service and its providers may process information in different countries; applicable safeguards depend on your location and the providers involved. Hooderians is intended for adults, not children under 18 (or a higher legal age of majority where applicable). If you believe a minor has supplied personal information, please notify the platform operator through an official Hooderians channel.

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the service, law or data practices. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated when required by law. See also our Terms of Service for wallet and trading risks.
